Winter finally arrived, albeit about one month late. It has been very cold and snowy over the last month or so. As of two days ago, Indianapolis had 12 inches of snow on the ground. This is the highest snow depth in 25 years. The snow has been melting fast over the last two days now. I am hopeful to be able to put up my cold frame in about another week or so if the snow is melted by then. I have ordered all of my seeds for the upcoming growing season. I would like to start some lettuce seeds soon. I will have to wait and see what the weather will be like before I decide when to start them. Spring will be here before you know it.
